This quick and easy homemade gingerbread spice mix is the perfect addition to your holiday baking and beverages!

Unlike Pumpkin Spice mix, Gingerbread Spice mix is not readily available in stores here, at least not where I live. If you’re having trouble finding it as well then this recipe is for you!
An easy way to add a bit more spice and flavor to your holiday baking or beverages.

How to make Gingerbread Spice Mix
The recipe couldn’t be more simple — measure out your spices, mix, and you’re done.
You’re probably thinking to yourself — can’t I just use the pumpkin pie spice that I have in place of this? It’s pretty much the same ingredients. Well it IS mostly the same ingredients, but the ratios are different and it will yield a different flavor.
Pumpkin pie spice is heavy on cinnamon, whereas gingerbread spice has a balance of cinnamon, allspice, and ginger. It really does add a different and unique flavor.

This gingerbread spice mix is the perfect addition to any holiday baking that may be on your radar. From cakes and cookies to muffins and pancakes, the possibilities are endless.
And don’t forget to add it to your holiday beverages as well. Just sprinkle some on eggnog, coffee, or hot chocolate and you’re set.
It also makes a wonderful handmade Christmas or hostess gift. Pour some into a pretty mason jar and tie around a little candy cane or twine ribbon and you’re done!
